Bachelors in Biotechnology

BS Biotechnology at DUHS is a four year degree program, comprising eight semesters in total. The course layout is prescribed by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, which consists of 47 courses with a total of 134 credit hours maximum. In this program, great emphasis is placed upon integrating theory with practice as the curriculum is divided into both theoretical and laboratory-based learning components. This is to enable students to attain the required level of expertise, before further practically testing out classroom knowledge through experiments.
